Research Interests

Petroleum reservoir fluids, biofuels, energy engineering, biomedical engineering, patent and trademark law, domestic and international oil and gas law.

Ms. Battalora joined the CSM faculty as a Lecturer in August of 2006. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from CSM in May of 1987, a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from CSM in December of 1988, and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law (New Orleans) in May of 1993. Ms. Battalora is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Louisiana and is a registered patent attorney. She has served various roles in the oil and gas industry including engineer, attorney, in-house counsel and international negotiator for oil and gas project development in Africa, Central and South America, Europe and the Middle East, the Netherlands Antilles and the West Indies.
