Victor Eifealdt graduated in 2004 with his Bachelors and currently works for Antero Resources in Denver, Colorado as a Senior Reservoir Engineer.

Eifealdt’s favorite memory of the Petroleum Engineering Program was the multidisciplinary classes, where he got to work with geologists and geophysicists, to solve oil and gas problems. Eifealdt adds “This class mimics a real work environment and I ended up working with some of the same teammates after graduation on similar type projects”.

Eifealdts’ favorite Mines memory was of the E-day’s Fireworks. “One of the years we had a lightning storm happening in the background as the fireworks were going off and it made for a spectacular show”.

Advice Eifealdt would give current Petroleum Engineering students would be that “Communication and presentation skills are just as important as problem-solving and analysis skills. You need to be able to communicate not only with your team, but be able to present your work to management in a clear and understandable way”.
